QUEER NATURE CABARET

Collaboration with LGBTQIA+ Forest Youth Project and Queering the Wye.

Produced by Wyldwood Arts for FOD Fringe 25.

Building on from the success of last years’ Queer Cabaret, Wyldwood Arts collaborated with Queering the Wye and their LGBTQIA+ Forest Youth Project to work towards a second iteration of the Queer Nature Cabaret. This time looking to stage a larger event within the Forest.

In the lead up to the cabaret, Queering the Wye’s Youth Group worked alongside a creative producer and artists to make decor and feed in to shape the final event.

The Queer Nature Cabaret was a joyful, quirky, family friendly event. It aimed to embrace the diversity of human identities, break binaries, and celebrate the queerness present in so much of nature.

It was an incredible lineup of cabaret artists from the Forest and beyond, with some acts performing for the first time alongside more established acts.
