We’re excited to invite you to be part of something special—a series of gatherings that happen throughout FOD Fringe 25 during March.
Each gathering will be unique, yet all will share a common theme—a celebration of community, creativity, and food.
We welcome any group to hold a gathering to share food, in any location you wish - this could be in a village hall, communal lounge, outside, or another venue of your choice. We ask that you invite others from the local community to take part. Use your interests and skills to share entertainment at your gatherings in any way you enjoy.
WYLDWOOD ARTS WILL PROVIDE EACH GATHERING WITH ARTIST-CREATED ELEMENTS TO HELP YOU CELEBRATE AND CONNECT.
We can offer you a small bursary to help your group arrange the gathering. These will range from £50 to £150. You can also charge donations. The money can go towards venue hire, food/ingredients, decorations and other items that will make it special.
WHEN ORGANISING YOUR GATHERING YOU MAY WANT TO THINK ABOUT:

Who is it for? Will it be family-friendly? Intergenerational?

Is it bring a dish? Do you cook together? Share a takeaway?

Do you use local and sustainable ingredients / Food Waste Initiatives to access food that would otherwise be thrown away?

What fun things can you do together? Use your interests to shape the gathering. Does anyone want to bring an instrument, play a song, stand up and share a poem?
At this stage just let us know who you are and your initial idea to unite your community! Please note that the deadline for hosting a gathering for FOD Fringe 25 is 31st January 2025.
